ExoFilm Genesis Paint Protection Film (PPF) 10-Year Limited Material Warranty.
- Warranty Coverage
ExoFilm Genesis Paint Protection Film (PPF) is warranted to the original purchaser for 10 years from the date of purchase against the following material defects:
- Yellowing: Discoloration caused by UV exposure.
- Cracking: Formation of cracks in the film due to UV degradation.
- Staining: Any permanent marks or blemishes resulting from normal environmental exposure.
- Delamination: Separation of layers within the film.
- Peeling: Film detaching from the applied surface without interference.
- Warranty Limitations
This warranty applies to the film material only and does not cover installation services or any issues arising from improper installation.
ExoFilm is not responsible for defects or damage caused by the installation process. Any claims related to improper installation should be directed to the installer.
- Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Installation errors: Including bubbling, improper adhesion, or improper cutting of the film.
- Damage from misuse or neglect: Such as accidents, road hazards (e.g., stone chips), or any form of abuse.
- Improper maintenance: Use of abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, or improper cleaning techniques.
- Vehicle repainting: Any damage resulting from poor surface preparation or repainting of the vehicle prior to film application.
- Environmental conditions: Such as acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, or other natural contaminants that damage the film if not promptly cleaned.
4. Warranty Claim Process
To file a warranty claim, the following steps must be taken:
- Contact the authorized dealer or installer from whom the film was purchased, providing:
- Proof of purchase (including installation date).
- Clear photographic evidence of the defect.
- If the dealer determines that the defect falls under warranty coverage, ExoFilm will supply replacement material for the affected area.
- Labor costs associated with film removal or reinstallation are not covered by this warranty.
5. Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and is applicable only to the original purchaser of the product.
EVOLUTION WINDOW FILM
- ExoFilm Evolution Window Films Lifetime Transferable Warranty
- Warranty Coverage
ExoFilm Evolution Window Films are warranted against the following defects for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle:
- Discoloration: Fading, yellowing, or color change of the film.
- Peeling: Film detachment from the glass surface.
- Cracking: Formation of cracks or fractures in the film due to UV exposure.
- Delamination: Separation of the layers of the film.
- Bubbling: Formation of air bubbles or blistering, excluding those caused by improper installation.
- Adhesive Failure: Loss of adhesion between the film and the window.
- This warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing under normal use and care.
- Transferability
This warranty is transferable to any subsequent owner of the vehicle. Upon vehicle ownership transfer, the warranty remains valid, provided the proper documentation is provided, as detailed in the claim process.
- Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Improper Installation: Any defects or damage caused by installation errors or poor workmanship.
- Damage from accidents or misuse: Including but not limited to damage caused by impacts,
- scratches, vandalism, collisions, or intentional damage.
- Glass Breakage: The warranty does not cover any damage caused by glass breakage or replacement.
- Improper maintenance: Use of harsh cleaning products, abrasive materials, or failure to follow care instructions may void the warranty.
- Film modifications: Any modification, such as tinting over the film or removal and reapplication, will void the warranty.
- Normal Wear and Tear: The warranty does not cover minor wear and tear, such as slight scratches or normal aging effects that do not affect the performance of the film.
- Environmental damage: This includes damage caused by natural disasters (floods, hurricanes, etc.) or extreme weather conditions (hail, severe sun exposure, etc.).
- Warranty Claim Process
To file a warranty claim, the following steps must be followed:
- Contact the Authorized Dealer: The warranty is valid only if the installation was performed by an authorized ExoFilm dealer. Contact your dealer or the ExoFilm customer service team to begin the claim process.
- Provide Proof of Purchase: You will need to provide an original sales receipt and proof of installation by an authorized dealer. If the vehicle has changed ownership, the new owner must provide the original documentation.
- Inspection and Assessment: The ExoFilm dealer will assess the film for material defects. If the film is deemed defective, ExoFilm will replace the film at no cost for the material. Labor for reinstallation may or may not be covered depending on dealer policy.
- Replacement Process: Upon approval of the claim, the affected area will be replaced with a new film of the same or comparable type. The warranty for the replaced film will carry forward under the original warranty terms.
- Transfer Process for Subsequent Vehicle Owners
To transfer the warranty to a new owner:
- The new owner must provide the original warranty documentation and a bill of sale for the vehicle showing the transfer of ownership.
- The warranty will be re-registered in the name of the new owner through an authorized ExoFilm dealer, ensuring continued coverage.

- Limited Liability: ExoFilm is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, including damage to the vehicle, its occupants, or any personal property inside the vehicle.
- No Implied Warranties: Other than the specific warranty coverage outlined above, ExoFilm does not offer any implied warranties for fitness or suitability of the product for any specific purpose.
- Jurisdiction: This warranty is governed by the laws of the state in which the warranty claim is filed, and any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of that state.

ExoFilm’s Vision Flex Windshield Protection Film offers protection against common windshield damage and carries a 2-year limited warranty. This warranty guarantees that Vision Flex is free from defects in materials and workmanship and covers the following:

- Cracking: Any cracking or breaking of the film itself caused by normal use.

- Warranty Limitations
This warranty is limited to material defects only and does not cover:

- Yellowing or Discoloration: The film turning yellow or changing color due to UV exposure.
- Cracking: Any cracking or breaking of the film itself caused by normal use.
- Bubbling or Blistering: Development of air bubbles or blisters that form without external physical damage.

- Wait 7 Days Before Washing
Allow the film to fully cure for at least 7 days after installation before washing or applying any treatments. During this period, avoid using high-pressure washers or abrasive materials.
- Regular Cleaning
- Hand Wash: Use a pH-neutral automotive shampoo with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth to gently clean the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive scrubbing tools.
- Drying: Dry the film with a clean, soft microfiber towel to prevent water spots. Do not allow water to air dry as it may leave residue or spots.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Do not use petroleum-based products, isopropyl alcohol, or any other solvent-based cleaners.
These can damage the film and void your warranty. Always check product labels before use.
- Waxing and Sealants
You can apply waxes or sealants over the ExoFilm PPF to enhance its appearance, but only use

- Prompt Removal of Contaminants
Immediately clean off bird droppings, insect remains, tree sap, and other contaminants to prevent staining. Failure to promptly remove these contaminants can result in permanent damage.
